Formula 1® is set to land in the Spanish capital as Madrid joins the calendar from 2026. The Madrid circuit will be based in the Barajas district of the city and winds its way around the IFEMA Madrid exhibition centre. The new track will feature a mix of street and non-street sections. Local hero, Carlos Sainz is impressed with the setup, saying: “It’s a dream come true… Next year will be huge for Madrid as it becomes part of F1® and I can’t wait!” We can’t wait either!
